Web Design & Development
One of our favorite jobs is designing and developing a website. We can work within most budgets, and still produce a fantastic site.
We start by meeting with you, and discussing the requirements for the website, what you need and what you want. After we have a firm understanding of the work that needs to be done, we ask our design & development teams to calculate how many hours will be required and we put together a quote. We’ll send you a copy of the quote to look over and can meet again to discuss the quote and make any required changes.
Once we have settled on the quote, we’ll send you a contract and an invoice for 35% of the quote. Once the contract is signed and the invoice paid, we can begin working on your new site!
The first step of actually making the site is the design. We’ll do up some wireframes, which is a mockup of the structure of your site (Not design). We’ll go over these with you, and if everything looks good, we’ll proceed with the actual design. Once the design is complete, we will show it to you for any final changes or modifications, and get your sign-off.
Now that the design is done, we’ll hand the design over to our code gurus and they’ll produce a fully working website. We’ll transfer your old site’s content over if applicable, and then have you in for training. Once you’ve practiced a bit with the new website and are ready, we’ll put it live.
Web Application Development
Does your business or organization have any repetitive tasks that you spend hundreds of hours each year on? Are you constantly trying to work around the limitations of a specific piece of software to make it do what you want? Are you frustrated by the inefficiency of something you routinely do?
If you said yes to any of the above, it’s a strong indicator that one of your processes needs improvement, in the form of custom developed software. Our workflow analysts and code gurus will talk with you to understand what you’re doing, what you’d like to be doing, and how you’d like to be doing it. They’ll then set to work researching existing solutions and if none are found, they’ll develop a quote of how many hours the custom solution would take.
The hours get handed off to our project managers to create a proper quote with various options/tiers. We’ll then sit down and talk to you to discuss your options. Once we’ve settled on a specific option, we’ll send you a contract & an invoice for 35% of the quote. Once the contract is signed and the invoice paid, we can begin developing your custom web application!
Our code gurus working with the designers will produce mockups of the interface for your new application. This is to ensure their was no miscommunication along the way, and we fully understand how everything should work. The mockups will be presented to you, and if everything looks good we can start building the actual application.
Once the majority of the application is complete, we’ll sit down with you and go over it, ensuring it functions as you expected and includes the features and functionality that you want. Our developers will make any required adjustments and finish the application.
Then depending on the individual application, we can set it up locally or through the web, and train your employees & you on how to use it.
